LocalVault Studio has introduced six-language support for LocalVault AI, its Windows application for local document search, summarization and comparison of two contract versions. The updated trial package is available from the product website.The application now provides interface options in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, German, French and Spanish. Users can change the display language from the language menu at the top of the application. On first use, the application selects a language based on the browser's language settings; it saves subsequent selections in the same browser.
The update also passes the selected language to the local language model when users ask questions about documents or request a comparison. This instructs the model to produce its response in the selected language. Output quality and document interpretation depend on the model, the source language and the contents of the document. The update does not imply equal accuracy across languages or automatic validation of legal conclusions.
LOCAL DOCUMENT WORKFLOWS
LocalVault AI is designed for people who want to work with documents on their own Windows PC rather than upload them to an external cloud AI service. It supports PDF, Word, plain-text and Markdown document workflows, combining keyword and vector search to help users locate relevant passages.
Its contract-comparison workflow identifies additions, deletions and changes between two document versions and presents clauses for further review. This feature is included in the Pro edition. Users should check generated results against the original documents and retain responsibility for any contract decisions.
Document inference uses a local model. Software installation and model acquisition may require an internet connection. Users should consult the setup instructions and check their configured environment before handling confidential documents.
AVAILABILITY AND PRICING
The updated Windows trial is available for seven days without a credit-card registration requirement. Sample contracts are included so that users can evaluate the workflow before using their own material.
The Standard edition is offered at JPY 49,800 and the Pro edition at JPY 89,800, with prices shown as tax-inclusive on the Japanese product website. Both are one-time license purchases. Hardware requirements and applicable terms are provided on the website. Processing performance depends on the computer, model and document workload.
