The company today announced an integrated crypto-payment workflow for online businesses that connects payment requests, checkout, invoices, transaction monitoring, payment statuses and settlement records under a single process. The infrastructure is designed for subscription-software providers, online retailers, multi-seller platforms and digital-service operators that need to turn an on-chain transfer into a payment event their operations and finance teams can identify and manage. For a business, receiving crypto at a wallet address is a technical starting point, not a completed payment process. The business must still match the transfer to a particular order, validate the payable amount and selected network, apply its confirmation rule, and reflect an accepted payment in internal records. Those tasks become harder when multiple customers use the same destination address or when payments arrive late, partially or more than once.
Cryptoway organizes those steps around a specific payment request. The request can specify the amount payable, payment asset, permitted network, validity window and a merchant-side reference. It is then presented through a checkout flow and paired with an invoice record, giving the customer clear payment instructions and giving the business a commercial reference before a transaction is broadcast.
Once a transaction is observed on the relevant blockchain, the workflow records it against the payment request and moves it through defined statuses. A detected transfer and an accepted payment are not treated as the same event. This distinction lets a business apply its own confirmation policy before it enables a subscription, releases a digital service or proceeds with order fulfilment.
The flow also gives teams a structured way to handle operating exceptions. A wrong-network payment, a partial amount, a duplicate transfer or a receipt after invoice expiry may all require review rather than automatic fulfilment. Linking the transaction reference, invoice, expected and received amounts, network and status history gives support and finance teams a common record for investigation and reconciliation.
For merchants that connect payment infrastructure to their own systems, status updates can be used alongside internal order, account or finance records. That reduces the need to reconstruct a payment manually from an address, transaction hash and customer correspondence after the fact. Settlement is applied after the payment is accepted, allowing the merchant to use its own financial reporting, treasury and permissions procedures for a payment that has already been identified and tracked.
“An on-chain transfer shows that funds moved, but it cannot independently identify the business event behind the payment,” said a company spokesperson. “The operational requirement is to connect the request, the transaction, the confirmation decision and the finance record so that customers, support and accounting are working from the same status.”
The integrated approach is aimed at businesses that need a repeatable payment process instead of assigning staff to watch one address and reconstruct transactions manually. It is intended to support operational clarity around the points where crypto payments most often need human review: network selection, amount matching, confirmation thresholds, late receipts and reconciliation.
